Overview
The AWG range carries our flat PVC submersible cable into North-American conductor gauges, so installers specifying to UL practice can drop in a direct, like-for-like part. Finely stranded electrolytic copper runs side by side in a slim flat lay-up that hugs the rising main and resists twisting as the pump is lowered, while the PVC jacket keeps water, abrasion, grease and oil out. Sizes span 14 AWG up to 250 MCM, with a separate grounded 4-core build for installations that need an integral earth.
True AWG & MCM Sizing
Conductors are drawn to American Wire Gauge from 14 AWG to 250 MCM, matching UL-specified panel and pump schedules without conversion.
Water, Oil & Abrasion Resistant
A heat- and moisture-rated PVC jacket holds out moisture, grease, oil and abrasion for dependable submerged and underground service.
UL 75 °C TW Rated
Built in accordance with the UL specification for 75 °C type TW cable, so it carries rated current safely in wet locations.

What's the difference between this and the metric (sq mm) flat cable?
The cable is the same flat PVC submersible design — only the conductor sizing differs. This range is drawn to American Wire Gauge (14 AWG to 250 MCM) for UL-based specifications, while our standard range is sized in sq mm. See the metric version.
When do I need the 4-core "with ground" build?
Choose the 4-core version when the installation calls for an integral grounding conductor alongside the supply cores. The 3-core build covers installations without a separate ground.
How deep can these cables run?
They are built for continuous submersible duty in deep wells to around 500 metres.
