Rubber 3 & 4 Core Round Cables (HO7RN-F)
Round-profile HO7RN-F rubber cables for submersible pumps and demanding outdoor power — finely stranded copper in EPDM insulation under a tough NBR sheath that stands up to oil, ozone, abrasion and weather. 450/750 V across a 1.5 to 95 sq mm range.

Overview
These round rubber cables pair EPDM-insulated copper cores with an NBR rubber outer sheath — the HO7RN-F construction trusted wherever a cable has to live hard. The round profile routes cleanly in any direction, the finely stranded conductors keep it flexible through repeated handling, and the rubber build shrugs off moisture, grease, abrasion and continuous immersion. That makes them a natural fit for deep-well submersible motors as well as irrigation, drainage and general heavy-duty supply in wet or exposed sites, from 1.5 up to 95 sq mm.
All-Direction Round Profile
The circular build bends and routes equally in every direction — easy pulling through glands, conduits and tight runs.
Rubber Through & Through
EPDM insulation plus an NBR sheath resist oils, acids, chemicals, ozone and weathering — built for submerged and outdoor duty.
Continuous Deep-Well Duty
Engineered for non-stop supply to submersible motors at depths up to around 500 m without losing flexibility.
Construction
Applications
- Continuous power to submersible motors in deep wells (to around 500 m)
- Irrigation and drainage pump installations
- Agricultural and field power distribution
- Wet, submerged and outdoor environments
- Industrial sites exposed to oils, grease and chemicals
Specifications
Standards & Compliance
Built in line with the UL specification for 75 °C type TW cable, and generally conforming to:
- UL 83
- IEC 60245
- BS 6500
FAQ
What does the HO7RN-F designation mean?
It's the harmonised European code for a heavy-duty, flexible rubber-sheathed cable rated 450/750 V — designed for rough mechanical conditions, outdoor use and wet locations.
Why choose a round rubber cable over a flat one?
Round cables flex equally in every direction, which suits surface routing, irrigation lines, drainage installs and glanded entries. Flat cables are mainly preferred strapped against the rising main in deep borewells.
What sizes and voltage are available?
1.5 to 95 sq mm in both 3-core and 4-core, rated at 450/750 V. Custom sizes can be produced on request.
How do they handle oil and chemical exposure?
The NBR rubber sheath is specifically chosen for its resistance to oils, grease, acids, chemicals and ozone, while the EPDM insulation underneath keeps its electrical properties in wet and hot conditions.
