MOWP — Open Well Monoset Pump
A horizontal monoset built to sit in open wells, sumps and tanks — single & three-phase, 3 to 10 HP, with flows up to 1840 LPM and heads up to 44 metres across five ready-built sizes.
MOWP Open Well Monoset Pump
The MOWP is a horizontal monoset — pump and motor sealed together as one IP68 unit — designed to sit inside an open well, sump or tank and run fully submerged. A 2-pole copper-wound motor drives a cast-iron centrifugal end suction across five build sizes, from a compact 3 HP unit to a 10 HP heavy hauler moving up to 1840 LPM at heads to 44 m. Up to 8 m of manometric suction lift and port sizes from 2" to 4" make it easy to drop into existing agricultural, industrial or drainage piping.
Overview
The MOWP series is Majestic Pump's heavy-duty answer to large-volume lift and transfer jobs in open wells, sumps and tanks. Because the motor and pump end share one IP68-sealed body, the whole unit can be lowered into the water and left to run continuously — there's no separate dry-mounted motor to protect from splash or flooding. Five build sizes span 3 HP to 10 HP, single-phase on the smallest model and three-phase across the rest, with flows climbing to 1840 LPM and heads to 44 metres depending on the model. A 2-pole asynchronous motor with high-grade copper winding is rated for S1 continuous duty, so it can run all day without de-rating, and up to 8 metres of manometric suction lift gives installers room to site the unit away from the water's edge if needed.
Built for open wells
One sealed IP68 unit drops straight into wells, sumps and tanks — no separate dry-mounted motor to protect.
High-volume output
Flows up to 1840 LPM and heads to 44 m across five build sizes — from 3 HP to 10 HP.
Continuous S1 duty
Copper-wound 2-pole motor runs all day without de-rating, with up to 8 m suction lift for flexible siting.

FAQ
What is the difference between a monoset and a submersible pump?
A monoset is a horizontal pump and motor built as one sealed unit for use in open wells, sumps and tanks, whereas a submersible borewell pump is a slim vertical unit designed to drop down a narrow bore.
Which MOWP model should I choose?
Match your required flow and head against the performance tables above — tell us your suction/delivery size and duty point and we'll confirm the right build.
Can the MOWP run fully underwater?
Yes — every MOWP model carries an IP68 rating and is built for continuous, fully submerged operation.
Single-phase or three-phase?
The MOWP 3 AT (3"X3") is available in single & three-phase; the 5, 7.5 and 10 HP models are three-phase only.
Do you supply in bulk for projects?
Yes — bulk and container-load supply with export-ready documentation. Contact our team for project pricing and lead times.
