A 3-inch (75 mm) water-filled submersible motor built for narrow borewells where a 4-inch frame won't fit. Filled with clean, anti-corrosive water that cools and lubricates the motor, it delivers high efficiency and cool-running windings for low operating cost. A stainless-steel high-strength shaft, specially designed thrust bearing and key-type assembly rotor make it dependable in continuous single-phase duty from 0.75 to 1.5 HP.
Overview
When the borewell is too narrow for a 4-inch motor, the MPM03 steps in. At just 73 mm across the body it drops into 3-inch (75 mm) and larger wells, yet still carries a full high-efficiency winding for low running cost and cool operation. The motor is filled with clean water and an anti-corrosive additive that both cools and lubricates it through long continuous-duty cycles, while a stainless-steel shaft, heavy-duty thrust bearing and epoxy-coated rotor stand up to the axial loads and pressure swings of deep-well pumping. It's a single-phase motor, sized for domestic and light agricultural water supply.
