A 4-inch (100 mm) water-filled submersible motor for borewell pumps where an oil-free fill is preferred. The motor is filled with water and an anti-corrosive liquid that keeps the windings cool, while an IE3 high-efficiency electrical design lowers running cost. A high-strength stainless-steel shaft, specially designed thrust bearing and graded cast-iron housing make it dependable in continuous duty — available in single & three-phase up to 7.5 kW.
Overview
The MPM04 Water Filled motor is built for installations that need an oil-free drive. Instead of dielectric oil, it's filled with clean water and an anti-corrosive additive that cools the motor and protects the internals — so there's no risk of oil reaching the water supply. Its IE3 high-efficiency design runs cooler and cheaper, while a specially designed thrust bearing handles the high axial loads of deep-well pumping. Solid-soldered winding connections, an epoxy-coated rotor and a graded cast-iron housing with precisely fitted bushes round out a motor made for long, continuous service in single or three-phase.
