A 5-inch (125 mm) water-filled submersible motor for medium-duty borewells. Filled with clean, anti-corrosive water that cools and lubricates the motor, its IE3 high-efficiency windings keep operating cost low, while a graded cast-iron housing, stainless-steel shaft and heavy thrust bearing handle high axial loads — including horizontal pump-set applications. Available in single & three-phase from 1 to 15 HP at 50 Hz.
Overview
The MPM05 bridges the gap between our 4-inch and 6-inch frames — a 5-inch (125 mm) water-filled motor for medium-duty borewells in agriculture, industry and bulk water supply. Filled with clean water and an anti-corrosive additive, it cools and lubricates itself as it runs, while IE3 high-efficiency windings hold operating cost down. A graded cast-iron housing with a precisely fitted bush, heavy-duty thrust bearing and stainless-steel shaft carry high axial loads, including horizontal pump sets. Single-phase ratings run 3–10 HP; three-phase spans 1–15 HP. All ratings are at 50 Hz.
