MPM10 — 10" Water Filled Submersible Motor (60 Hz)

Majestic Pump's 10-inch (250 mm) water-filled submersible motor — Turbo Series, our highest-power borewell motor, three-phase and water-lubricated for clean running, from 110 to 250 HP at 60 Hz / 3450 rpm.

Submersible Motor

MPM10 Water Filled Submersible Motor — 60 Hz, Turbo Series

A 10-inch (250 mm) three-phase water-filled submersible motor — the top of our range, for the largest borewells and the heaviest continuous industrial duty, rated for 60 Hz / 3450 rpm operation. Filled with clean, anti-corrosive water that cools and lubricates the motor, with high-efficiency windings, a graded cast-iron housing, stainless-steel shaft and heavy thrust bearing for very high axial loads. 110 to 250 HP at 380 V or 460 V, with DOL and star-delta starting.

Overview

The MPM10 is the largest motor in the range — a 10-inch (250 mm) three-phase water-filled motor for the biggest borewells, deepest lifts and most demanding continuous duty in bulk water supply, large-scale irrigation and heavy industry. Filled with clean water and an anti-corrosive additive, it cools and lubricates itself as it runs, while high-efficiency windings hold operating cost down. A graded cast-iron housing with a precisely fitted bush, heavy-duty thrust bearing and stainless-steel shaft carry very high axial loads, including horizontal pump-set applications. This 60 Hz Turbo Series version runs at 3450 rpm and spans 110 to 250 HP on 380 V or 460 V supply, with DOL and star-delta starting.

Highest Power in Range

110–250 HP three-phase at 3450 rpm with high-efficiency windings for low running cost on heavy continuous duty.

Water-Cooled & Lubricated

An anti-corrosive water fill cools and lubricates the motor for clean, oil-free running.

Heavy-Duty Build

Graded cast-iron housing, stainless-steel shaft and a thrust bearing sized for very high axial loads.

FAQ

Is this the 50 Hz or 60 Hz version?

This page covers the 60 Hz, 3450 rpm Turbo Series rating tables (380/460 V). For the 50 Hz, 2880 rpm version, see the MPM10 Water Filled (50 Hz) page.

What borewell size does the MPM10 fit?

It's a 10-inch (250 mm) motor with a 232 mm body, so it fits 250 mm (10") and larger borewells.

What power options are available?

Three-phase from 110 to 250 HP at 60 Hz / 3450 rpm, on 380 V or 460 V supply, with DOL and star-delta starting. See the Technical Data tabs.
